Reed Replacement

If you have a cracked or damaged reed, this can be replaced instead of throwing the harmonica out.

Cleaning

Harmonicas do get dirty and require cleaning regularly to be able to perform at their best. this image shows a harmonica after being used for some time. The build up can cause reeds to sound flat or even stop working all together.

I use a natural product and ultrasonic bath for cleaning and I also coat the original pearwood comb in shellac to prevent moisture from swelling the comb further. I can also convert Marine Bands from nailed construction to screws.

Wind saver replacement

Chromatic harmonicas have wind savers that over time require replacement. I recommend this as part of a service.
